Hi, I’m Will.

No matter who you are, you're going to encounter struggles in this life. We all need people who can listen and provide an outside perspective on those struggles. And we need tools and strategies to help us along the way. Whether you need to talk it out, draw it out, play it out, or just sit with it for a while, I'd be glad to help. 

 

I started my career in film and television, and stories are a passion of mine. I believe that one of the most helpful things you can do is to learn how to own the story that is unfolding in your life.

 

I approach counseling by collaborating with you, combining aspects of CBT, Narrative therapy, ACT, and person-centered approaches to find the best path toward mental wellness. 

 

As someone with over 20 years in Christian Ministry I know firsthand how faith can be an important aspect of well-being, but I've also seen the sting of spiritual abuse and know many people have experienced substantial trauma as part of the church. If that's your story, I would love to walk along side you as you process that hurt. 

 

My first post-graduate degree was a Masters of Fine art, and as such I'm learning all I can about various art therapies, and play therapy. I believe engaging with people's interests, passions, and creative skills are all great ways to enhance treatment and maintain mental, spiritual, and emotional health. So if you want to talk about your favorite movies, comic books, TV shows, games, novels, or hobbies I'd be glad to start there.

 

I'm happy to work with people of all ages to help them determine where they are, where they want to go, and the path to get there, all while having as much fun as possible along the way.
